ExploraVision Science Competition Toshiba/NSTA
Award Amount: $5,000-$10,000 Deadline Date: Feb. 1, 2005
Description The ExploraVision Science Competition is available to students in grades K-12. You must work in a group of two, three or four students. Each team will select a technology that is present in the home, school and/or community and explore what the technology does, how it works and how or why it was invented. All Applicants must be citizens of the United States or Canada to be eligible.

Description The DuPont Challenge Science Essay Awards is open to students in grades seven to nine (Junior Division) and grades ten to twelve (Senior Division) who are attending a public or non-public school in the United States or Canada. You must submit an essay between 700 and 1,000 words in length that discusses a scientific or technological development, event or theory that has captured your interest and attention. The essay must be original, unpublished and written in English.
